How to Have a Jolly Christmas

My latest project for Say It With Letters

Long long long before I was a scrapbooker, I would make it a tradition every year to do a new felt applique project by Bucilla. It started with ornaments, and then stockings. I even did all the hand-beading and sequins myself, plus the embroidery too. So I was trying to decide what to do for this project, and I took a look at what I had in my Bucilla leftovers, since I have some unfinished stockings (abandoned since scrapbook fever)...and one of the stockings that was finished except for a backing was this Santa stocking. I ended up deconstructing it for my JOLLY letters. I love it!

Hand embroidered face plus beaded beard, by me - finished about 6 years ago

Honestly, it's way way way too early for me to think about Christmas but since I love my Bucilla felt so much I didn't mind at all! Have you started thinking about Christmas yet? 68 days left!!! (is that right? LOL)

Oh, and did you see the snow the other day?? WTH?! I hope this doesn't mean what I think it means for our winter. Yuck!

Snow???? No way, I missed it. I heard it was coming but I must have overslept...one day I was up until 4 am for a project, the frost must have gone by the time I got up. LOL
