Finished Sampler!

I finished my embroidery sampler. It wasn't going to be anything but practice. I don't know why many of us bloggers for AEDM feel obligated to admit where are mistakes are on our projects. I say let's not tell anyone where things didn't turn out the way we wanted them too, and no one will know the difference!

Center pattern is from Sublime Stitching Pad by Jenni Hart (iron on patterns), lace at bottom is from Prima Marketing, Inc; Glitter is ultrafine from Art Glitter Institute

Do you feel fabulous today?  What is something you can do to feel fabulous right now?
Finishing my sampler feels so FABULOUS!
BE FABULOUS ALL DAY!

So lovely! Hmmm... I wonder why we have that urge, to admit our mistakes. Is it more of that aw-shucks-i'm-not-really-a-true-artist thing creeping back in?

Anyway, loved your post and your fabulous advice. :)

love the way it came out. And i agree, we can keep those "mistakes" to ourselves and no one will know the difference. :-)

This is beautiful and bright and sparkly! I like your idea of keeping mistakes to ourselves and accepting compliments without any "yes buts". Your blog, art and words are always a fabulous addition to my day!

Just can't get over your artsy scrappy mama doll -- she's just the most fun and lovely thing! And this sampler just pops -- very cool! Glad you liked the freebie over on the Mother Henna blog :) Hoping to kick this flu bug quickly as I stewed up a buncha ideas for freebie how-to's on video -- very much want to do them for AEDM, but we'll see ... :)
anyway...
