New Projects

I am having a ball playing with this cute July Yellow Bag Kit from For the Luv of Art that you can order at a discount now on Pre-sale before July 15th. I'll show you more images plus digital/hybrid kits that go with it down below. First, I want to show you two projects I've made so far. I'll be sharing more and more projects throughout the month too!

This photo of my husband in his navy blue shirt tied into the navy blue in the Basic Grey Olivia paper just right and I loved all the hearts and I'm so happy with how this layout came together. You can see a closeup above too of one of  Norma's exlusive stamps (on the "cutie" card) to which I added sticker hearts and an alpha "u" (all included in the kit). I love color, and I love how colorful this layout turned out of my husband in the courtyard of the House of Blues in N. Myrtle Beach. We loved the art in and outside of the restaurant, and we had met one of the artists the day before at his studio so it was especially fun looking at his Rock'n'Roll style pieces.

I love the Core'dinations cardstock that I rubbed over the Prima alpha in the kit, and sanded it.

For my next project, I was inspired to make an ornament from the banner kit in this month's "Sweet Ollie" Yellow Bag[ link ] as we live at the beach. I cut the shell from a vintage book, and used the Prima Donna Downey 12x12 "Canvas Screenprint" Sheet as the background. The Webster's Pages[ link ] trim was also from the store (now sold out). The Basic Grey sticker in the center is included in your kit!!!

(Supplies from my stash: doilie, silver pipe cleaner, shell image)

Now lookie at all the yummy goodness in this kit! You'll want to kiss it! Maybe hug it!

And here are the co-ordinating digital kits for hybrid creativity!!!!

Check out more inspiration from the rest of the Design Team here!
Have a great day. :)
