Begin Where You Are

Last night while I was finishing up my project for the next Bad Girls Project 52 Challenge to be revealed on Monday, I had extra paint and so I just slabbed it on my art journal. Also whenever I use my Glimmer Mist and Screens, I turn it over and "stamp" on a scrap so I did that here too.  I also made a point to collage really old vintage papers into this one. This page is just a fun page, I wrote "Art Every Day Month" at the top, then said that I found this challenge.  "Begin where you are" is a quote from Violette's book, and the doodles are also her inspiration. The scrolls along the right are with my long-neglected foam stamps.

I found at Michael's some Golden Fluid Acrylics on clearance, also some Liquitex Glossies on clearance so I used some of those along with my craft acrylics, Copic markers, oil pastels, and gel medium to adhere the collage elements.

Wow, LOVE your art journal pages! Saw you have the "wreck this journal" in a former post... I had such fun with that! Look overhere to see my pictures... and OH, I left you a little something in my last post on my blog!
