Sneak Peeks

I do believe there is a newsletter coming with layouts of the Bad Girls Elite Artists Layouts for "this" Feature Kit very soon, and here are my sneak peeks!

I also decided to start my sister's wedding album, yes, albeit six years late. I just happened to turn on HSN  one morning as I was waking up, as sometimes my friend Candra George has her layouts featured as part of Anna Griffin's design team when Anna is selling her products. Lo and behold, Anna was selling an amazing 12x12 album kit, half of which was pre-made, and the other half she gives you the product to finish. I thought this would be perfect for my sister's album. First of all, the pre-made pages were outstanding!!!! I made so many pages in 2 hours time! Here a few peeks...

These are PRE-MADE Pages, can you believe it? Aren't they gorgeous? Except for the word "Beauty" which I added.
So what have you been creating? I'm going to take a break for the next week and a half, but I want to know what you are up to!!!

P.S. I forgot to mention that the album kit with tons of goodies and extras was the Deal of the Day and it was only $25!!!! I couldn't resist. Shipping was about $9...So awesome. Ok...can't believe I almost forgot that juicy nugget of info.  Have a great day.

I love doing this kind of challenge every once in awhile. This isn't an official Bad Girls challenge, just
something that I personally wanted to do. I hope many of you will join me! "Go here to join in"

It's kind of Layout-A-Day but it's easier! You can make ANYTHING you want, an ATC, a tag, an art journal page, a canvas (any size, even 4" x 4"), freestyle embroidery, felt creations, cards, watercolors, mixed media, you get the idea. You are free to be as creative as you want. It can be as little or as big as you want. You can even post something in progress! The idea is to try to do it every day yet if you don't you won't be kicked out!!!! LOL We'll try to do 3, 5, or 7 days a week, whatever works for our schedules!!! As Seen on the Bad Girls Blog

I posted this on the Bad Girls Blog yesteday.

Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads, which sew people together through the years. -Simone Signoret

Yes, Sewing is the theme today! I thought you sewing Bad Girls might like the above quote to add to your favorites.

Here is my Sewing Themed Inspiration. I love love love collecting vintage patterns, the ones where the front is a hand-drawn design instead of a photograph.

Here is my finished project!

I use the vintage pattern figures in my projects, as well as the pattern paper. I've also admired the rag-quilt looking letters, so when I got these wood Say It With Letters "Sew" Letters, I knew I was going to mix up my love for vintage patterns, vintage notions, and some rag quilt styling.
You'll notice that I used the fabrics from our March Feature Kit “Shabby Little Sugar Shoppefor the border of the letters, creating a rag quilt look.
(I'll tell you a secret, I love the fabrics so much that I only used them for the border so that I'll have leftovers to use on more projects!!!!)

I covered the MDF letters with the felt letters that were decorated before attaching. More information on this will be available on our forum!

You can purchase the MDF  wood letters at http://www.sayitwithletters.com

Mini Coffee Filter Flowers for the Bad Girls Blog

Yesterday I shared this wicked awesome Coffee Filter Dress on the Bad Girls Blog, and had to highlight Leslie Cranwill, and Kristi. (NOTE: I made a mistake and said I thought Leslie used tissue paper, but she did use coffee filters on her amazing banner. Go check that out!)

I was inspired by my own blog post! Here I made mini coffee filter flowers!
