If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't." - Lewis Carroll

Welcome again, I'm so glad you are here!

This is Part 4, the final installment of my Mad Tea Party. You can find other rest: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 by clicking on the links.

I'll continue sharing my afternoon date with my husband, at La-Tea-Da Tea Room and Parlour in Rochester, NY. It was the most lovely summer afternoon. A perfect day to enjoy one another's company. Now the best thing about La-Tea-Da is that they have the best collection of hats! And they let you wear them. Any hat you want! They have hats in their entrance-way to choose from...

And they have hats in the parlour room to choose from..........

Not to mention stoles and boas to help you play dress-up....

 Hat #1

So eventually I did sit down and order from the menu.

I ordered their Valentine Tea (chocolate with rosebuds) and the  Sandwich Sampler (A nice introduction to our full afternoon tea.)

Hat #2

 One lump or two?

And here is my Sandwich Sampler? Looks good, doesn't it?!!!

 Hat #3

 Hat #4

And my darling husband, what a cutie!!!!! I love him so!

All in all, I give La-Tea-Da 9 out of 10 stars~this is my 4th time there and I always have just as much fun
and always enjoy the tea!!!

Thanks so much for visiting. I will catch up with you all tomorrow!!!!

These teacups are sitting right outside the front door, on the porch for diners outside. Love the eclectic look!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hours dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea." - Henry James

I knew when I was thinking about this Tea Party that I wanted to visit the La-Tea-Da Tea Room and Parlour locally here in Rochester, NY, and it proved to be quite the adventurous outing as my loving, sweet husband accompanied me for Afternoon Tea....

Isn't this a delightful place that you just yearn to go into?

I love all the flowers and color!

Coming up next, more garden photos and a tour of the inside. Check in at 2 pm E.S.T. for more about our delightful tea story!

Mad Tea Party 2010

Mad Tea Party 2010

Here's an excuse to have a Mad Tea Party!!!

Here's the information from Vanessa at A Fanciful Twist:

Wondering what to do if you sign up?
If you are signing up to participate in the Virtual Mad Tea Party, all you have to do are three things. (To sign-up, simply leave a comment at VANESSA'S BLOG saying you are joining in & leave your blog link. Thank you ;)

1) Share the flyer or the button on your blog as soon as possible.  Link to VANESSA'S blog post, and SHE will add your name to the "Mad Tea Partier" list in HER left hand side bar.

2)  On the day of the tea party, June 26th 2010, please make sure to post a Mad Tea Party post of your own, on your blog, linking to HER.  Other partiers will be visiting you on that date.

3)  Blog hop with the other partiers on the day of the event and have a mad blast!!  Again, the list of Mad Tea Party Participants will be in HER left hand sidebar.
Note:  Please make sure you post a tea party post on June 26th if you signed up.  Last year several people did not do this, and lots of partiers e-mailed VANESSA to ask why they were finding some blogs without a Mad Tea Party post.  VANESSA didn't have an answer.

Don't forget, this event is supposed to be pure fun.  Don't stress out about it, and do let yourself go positively mad ;)
If you need some, there are oodles of Mad Tea Party inspirations out there.  You can even order a copy of Winter 2010 Artful Blogging, where last year's tea party, along with a handful of other participating Mad Tea Parties were featured.
